Public health planning

SMHS Health Promotion partners with local government and supports the development, implementation and evaluation of local public health plans. This includes the provision of specific health data in local health profile reports to support public health planning.

Under Part 5 of the Public Health Act 2016, local governments must prepare and publish their local public health plans by 4 June 2026.
