Allied health and health professional careers
Allied health and health professional staff are at the core of our multidisciplinary teams, focused on responding to health challenges across more than 50 specialties in our tertiary/quaternary, general hospital and community settings.
SMHS currently includes three major hospitals offering inpatient and outpatient services including:
- Fiona Stanley Hospital, one of the newest public hospitals in the state and a major tertiary hospital providing comprehensive health services to adults, youth, children and neonates
- Fremantle Hospital, which provides specialist hospital services including mental health, aged care and elective surgical specialties
- Rockingham General Hospital, which provides emergency care and a range of inpatient services across a variety of disciplines
Peel Health Campus, a regional health campus is transitioning from a private healthcare facility to become part of the SMHS public hospital network in 2024.
In addition to this, several smaller hospitals and a range of community-based services provide a diversity of locations and roles.
