All children have the right to be safe. SMHS is committed to providing all children and young people with an environment where they are safe and feel safe.

Within SMHS we prioritise the safety and wellbeing of children. We respect and promote the rights of children from all backgrounds and cultures.

We provide opportunities for children and young people to have their voices heard and participate in decisions that affect them.

SMHS is committed to being a child safe organisation and everyone within SMHS is responsible for ensuring the safety of children.
