Breathing in new life, thanks to the gift of a lung 09 September 2022 John Price is a fit and healthy 76-year-old but 12 months ago, he required surgery to save his life. Ten years ago, John was diagnosed with a form of interstitial lung disease called pulmonary fibrosis which causes progressive scarring of lung tissue, and in John’s case there was no known cause.
